NEVER TRENDY, NEVER FLEETING
Our style is traditional and classic—every last detail is intentionally designed to stand the test of time. The beautiful and fully functional design of each Sunday House is meant to inspire slow, soulful living and connection with those you love.
Greenwood villa
A regal dreamscape with hints of inspirations from the mediterranean - we bring you Greenwood Villa!
Our clients entrusted us with furnishing and styling several rooms in their new home, and our design team worked their magic to bring this vision to life. From space planning, selecting furniture and materials, adding in decor, vintage elements, and artwork, every detail was meticulously crafted to create a space that truly feels like a one of a kind home.
An entryway that will take your breath away, a dining room made for sunday dinners and late night wine pairings, and a living room that will inspire you to take a chance on a bold decision.
Ranch in the woods
A green pasture nestled in the woods lies a breathtaking Ranch House we had the pleasure to redesign - taking it down to the studs and opening up the entire layout. By raising the roof on this vaulted ceiling - we we’re able to create this continuous walnut stained beam with handcrafted iron bands that runs throughout the whole main space.
Maintaining the original rustic ethos of the home, we designed this kitchen with warm, dramatic, and effortless materials to set the tone for this wholehearted home for our clients. The kitchen space flows into the scullery which has an inviting and calming feel - full of practicality for all things pantry storage and prep space. The living room is bright and effortless - made for easy and intentional living. The contrast of the plaster fireplace anchors the room and sets the tone for the funiture scheme we created. We envisioned a neutral pallet paired with rich walnut browns, and greens.
Cheers!
Orchard Grove Project
Oh, Orchard Grove! - The sweetest kitchen you’ll ever see! We didn't just design it; we meticulously orchestrated it to be both functional and drop-dead gorgeous. The Ann Sacks MIA slab backsplash takes center stage as the kitchen's superstar, with custom cabinetry, brass accents, and an island looking out to the stunning living area, a spot for the family to unwind.
This was your typical 2000’s kitchen that was all shades of the wrong brown, no flow, and little function. We reworked many areas in this kitchen for optimal storage that’s easy on the eyes and will remain timeless with it’s finishes.
Laurel Project
Laurel was a down-to-the-studs whole home remodel that still takes our breath away when we look at the finished product! We started by opening up all the spaces to improve the flow of the home from room to room.
We then brought in some dark neutral tones and bold patterns to complement the light, airy freshness in an unexpected yet tasteful way. Selecting timeless finishes was essential for this project, so we could create a space to love for years.
Vancouver Project
Our clients for this project have a love for hosting and bringing people together. Sunday House wanted to provide a kitchen and dining space that not only had the functionality for hosting but had an inviting and warm feeling to go along with it. This Pacific Northwest countryside home was completely transformed from its original state of dark cabinets that muted the character of this home to a warm, layered kitchen and dining.
The design choices of this project were all made with brightening the space in mind while keeping the richness of the wood beams a warming aspect for the home. There are many layers to this kitchen from creamy cabinets (Stoneware by Benjamin Moore), to bright warm walls (Dove White by Benjamin Moore) and two toned cabinets that make this kitchen one of a kind.
Fremont Project
The Fremont home has been in our client’s family for over 50 years but needed lots of love to give it new life. Throughout the down-to-the-studs remodel, we brought in classic finishes and lots of brass to add warmth to the space.
One of our favorite parts of this remodel is the gorgeous, neutral-toned kitchen— complete with mushroom-colored cabinets, marble countertops, and gold accents that add the perfect finishing touch.
32nd Ave. Project
A once neglected home turned into a dream abode for our clients and their family. This home is essentially a new build in the heart of the city. We kept everything very fresh and neutral with the large working kitchen being the main focus of the home.
There’s nothing better than coming home to a space where you can let go and be your most authentic self with those you love.
