MIDSUMMER MUSES

This midsummer, we’re embracing the season with three captivating themes: vintage elements paired with modern touches, the charm of al fresco dining, and the golden hour’s ethereal essence.

Featuring our latest project that fuses Mediterranean inspiration with historical charm, creating a timeless space that feels both fresh and nostalgic. Read below how we're restoring romance this season.

At Sunday House, we’re dedicated to sparking emotion and cultivating a sense of belonging through our visual storytelling. We’ve thoughtfully curated three mood boards designed to enhance your summer mood and elongate the season of solstice.

AL FRESCO DINING

A design favorite here at SH, al fresco dining is about creating an inviting and relaxed atmosphere that harmonizes with the outdoors. It fosters a casual yet refined ambiance that encourages lingering conversations and a deep connection with nature.

This style typically blends elements of nature with comfort and elegance, often incorporating rustic or natural materials like wood, stone, and woven textures paired with a soft ambiance.

Earthy tones like muted greens or blues complement the natural scenery, and tables are adorned with simple yet thoughtful decor, such as fresh flowers, minimalistic tableware, and natural linens, all of which evoke a sense of effortless elegance.

Heirloom meets new

A classically romantic ode to historical charm. This design style is a sophisticated blend of timeless, vintage elements with contemporary, modern touches that celebrate the charm and history of classic pieces while seamlessly integrating them with fresh designs.

Focusing on timelessness, the "heirloom meets new" design avoids trends, favoring pieces that will stand the test of time. The result is a space that feels classic yet current, rooted in the past while embracing the present.

sunset drive

Hey Alexa, play “Something In The Orange” by Zach Bryan. Sunset Drive embodies the nostalgic, carefree spirit of a scenic coastal drive at dusk with a warm, sunset-inspired palette. It’s a warm, relaxed, and slightly retro aesthetic that draws inspiration from the golden hues of sunset, the open road, and the laid-back feeling of summer evenings.

Typically, this style features natural materials that echo the outdoor environment, such as rattan, wicker, leather, and wood, blended with soft textiles like cotton or linen. The overall vibe is casual and effortless, making it perfect for unwinding after a long day.
